Why we don't keep a flash wall
Most studios have a wall of ready-made designs you pick from. We don't, and here's the actual reason.
A flash wall is convenient for a studio – the design is already done, and the client just points at what they like. It would probably fill more chairs on a Saturday, too.
We don't use one because the pieces we like doing are the ones drawn for a specific person: a specific arm, a specific reason, a specific size that fits the space it's going on. A design that works on a flash sheet doesn't always work on skin.
That's the whole reason the consultation exists. It's not a sales step – it's when the actual design work starts. You can absolutely bring reference images; we just won't tattoo them exactly as-is.
The trade-off is that everything takes a bit longer to book, since each piece has to be drawn before the appointment. We think it's worth it.
